This was our final week of strength using the linear strength program, and I have to say, I’ve never seen so many PR’s in one week. So many of you that took it seriously hit one or more PR’s in a 1 RM back squat, front squat and deadlift.

Don’t forget this Saturday is Barbells For Boobs at 9 am.  If you haven’t signed up for a heat, do it when you get the gym.  The 8 am class and 10 am open gym is cancelled for the day.  Don’t forget to wear something pink.  So far as a team of 23 we’ve raised $5834!! 

Coming up Saturday, October 25th is the first of five Long Island Fitness League competitions hosted by Thor Fitness.  We have two scaled teams and one RX.  If you are interested in being a volunteer judge or a fill in if one of the teams needs an alternate, let me know.  Come show your support!  There are about 20 teams registered so far.
